Over six weeks on strike, standing shoulder to shoulder for our future, our families, and our dignity. No one - not a single one of us - deserves to be bullied or disrespected because of how they voted last night.
Together, we stood up collectively and said enough. Together, we walked out. Only together will we make it through this storm and come out stronger on the other side.
Each one of us made a choice, using our voice, deciding what was right for our families. That power to choose, the right to choose, is at the core of everything we stand for. Respect. Fairness. A future that we decide, not one handed down to us from corporate boardrooms.
It’s fine to post on social media and to have your say on the line - hell, that's democracy. But let me tell you, bullying your brothers and sisters or tearing down the people who are in this fight with you is unacceptable. That’s not who we are. That’s not who we will ever be.
We will get back to the bargaining table and fight for every inch we can get. But don't make these negotiations more difficult by hurting the men and women who are standing by you, fighting with you, to achieve what we all need in this contract.
Last night, your voices were heard. All of your voices. The 64% who rejected the contract and the 36% who felt it was acceptable - you all matter. We are listening to every single one of you because you are part of this Union, and we won't leave anyone behind.
This strike isn’t just about a contract. It’s about respect, solidarity, and building the future we deserve. We have come too far, fought too long, to let anything weaken us now.
In Unity, Your Union Negotiating Committee
“But let me tell you, bullying your brothers and sisters or tearing down the people who are in this fight with you is unacceptable!”
And this is what is happening on social platforms.. If this isn’t one of the biggest “threat” to our solidarity I don’t know what is!! Workers might start to cross the line, and this is something none of us need or want!!
Wake up Union negotiator's and “Right the ship” before it’s too late!
If they go 40% and 8-10k signing bonus I think that would do it. Leave the rest as is.
