Contract Ratification Vote Results Oct. 23rd, 2024

Members,

After being silenced for the past 10 years, you were loud and clear on September 12th

that you deserve more. And on October 23rd you had your voices heard again. “We

deserve better.”

The vote on the latest company offer to resolve our strike and to ratify a new collective

Bargaining Agreement, was certified as rejected by your balloting committee this

evening. We will be notifying the company and letting them know we are available to

return to the negotiation table to secure an improved offer. The results of those

upcoming discussions are unknown, but we will be reaching out to our membership to

gage their priorities and understand the improvements that are necessary.

Today, we continue what we have been doing for the past 41 days – Strike. Our

leverage in this negotiation is what our power always has been, OUR LABOR – Stock

prices don’t build airplanes – WE DO. Managers and CEOs don’t build airplanes – WE

DO. We are the engine that makes this company move. We are the fuel it needs to

make any profit. We are the labor that makes Boeing viable. And we deserve the

respect, dignity, and the wages and benefits that our labor deserves.

We have made gains and improvements in what our new contract could be from the

Sept 12 th offer, and we are closer than ever to getting to an agreement. But it is going to

take more. There is a path to that better future we have been fighting for and right now

that path keeps us on our picket lines. We are reaching out to the Company to get back

to the table and collective bargaining is the only way for us to get the next offer to

present to you.

We know what our next step is... it is the same steps we have been walking on the picket lines for 41 days. We can and We WILL do this! One day longer... One day Stronger!

Stay strong and stay united.

PLEASE CONTINUE PICKETING ON YOUR NORMAL DAY AND TIME

Why are we not getting 2 weeks of sick leave like everyone else working for BA? Remember when getting sick was a "safety" issue? If they want us staying home when we're sick we need more sick leave.

Here's what might help.

The 50 cent progression is outdated. It should be minimum 1 dollar.

Everyone should be bumped up to the new minimums then get the GWI on top of that. A lot of new people that have only been around for a year or two feel like they're getting screwed because they started so much lower than recent new hires.

Those two should get most of the new people on board. Still might not be enough.

Get the GWI's to 40% (I know they are a hair under 40% compounded but people don't understand compounding) and half (20%) should take affect on day 1. We need the money now not three years from now.

Bump the SCRC…

Why are people rejecting this offer???

Seattle Boeing factory workers are being selfish and unrealistic. I have been with Boeing many years and this is not the first time we have had a strike. This is the best offer we have gotten! We can only be offered as much as they have to give, Boeing as a company hasn't been doing its best in these past few years so why do we need to bargain for more than we should get when they are offering a good revised contract. Us, as workers, need to provide for our families with our income and insurance benefits. We can't do that if we are striking. Please think deeply about your choice to strike…

What people asking for? in 27 years with Boeing this is the strike for for greedy not for fairness they care only for what they want which is not realistic. A lot Union members and their family need reality I do not want to divide but I am considering about my family what I should do to stop this BS

Will someone please explain why this offer was rejected? We need better communication on wtf is happening behind those negotiating doors. What exactly is it people are still waiting on? Seriously I'm baffled. Is the pension worth the lives and well being of your fellow union members? Someone tell me their reasons.
